Mack Trucks Volvo Commercial Transpacific Industries Nolan's Transport

Mack Trucks

Their Needs: Mack Trucks Australia is one of the country's leading providers of heavy commercial vehicles, and one of the most recognised truck brands in the world. Mack Trucks Australia required an impressive visual presence for their website; a site that kept to Mack Trucks strict branding specifications, but gave Mack Trucks a unique, tough Australian image. The site had to appeal to truck-drivers, dealers, re-sellers, and shoppers - for the popular Mack merchandise and clothing, as well as Mack's management and marketing teams. Internal extranets were also required to deliver sales information to their Australia-wide network of dealerships, and to deliver constantly updated information in a fast, reliable channel of communication.
Our Answers: Through the use of SmartSite powered websites and intranets, and an ongoing maintenance agreement with Creatop, Mack Trucks were able to achieve their goals. The release of the new Mack Trucks Australia website in March 2006 saw traffic rise an average of 30% throughout the year. Internal extranets have been used extensively by dealers across Australia. Furthermore, in October 2008, Creatop launched the New Breed website, promoting the newly designed low-emmision Mack trucks.

Volvo Commercial

Their Needs: Volvo Commercial Vehicles Australia (VCVA) is one of Australia's largest manufacturers of heavy trucks and commercial construction vehicles, encompassing such brands as Renault Commercial, Mack Trucks, Volvo Bus and Volvo Trucks. VCVA required an internal time-sheeting system to deliver high levels of financial accountability. Volvo Commercial also required a 'gateway' website to give easy access to their multiple wings of operations (such as Mack and Volvo Trucks, Volvo Buses, Penta, Volvo Construction etc).
Our Answers: Through the use of SmartTeam, VCVA time-sheeting was released in 2007, and is used by Volvo Commercial as a day-to-day business tool. The SmartSite powered VCVA entry website is due for release in 2009.

Transpacific Industries

Their Needs: Transpacific Industries (TPI), one of Australasia's largest waste management companies, required a complete workflow management and logistic co-ordination software system. The software needed to co-ordinate fleets, match dangerous goods drivers to appropriate waste deliveries and disposals, manage the costs of transportation, perform invoicing, and deliver touchscreen operated in-truck software.
Our Answers: The collaboration with TPI resulted in the development of SmartTransport, a custom built logistics and run-management software. Although under development, the system is being tested and implemented by TPI, and it is designed to manage the complete workflow of TPI's own, and subsidiary, fleets.

Nolan's Transport

Their Needs: Nolan's transport is one Queensland's largest family owned transport companies with over one-hundred trucks in their fleet. Nolan's Transport required business management software to assist their day-to-day business activities and to improve efficiency in their fleet management. Nolan's also required a content management system and new website.
Our Answers: The delivery of SmartTeam and SmartSite packages to meet their business needs. Much of Nolan's Transport daily business management is performed through SmartTeam, and Nolan's Transport website is powered by SmartSite CMS. Creatop continues to have a close working relationship with Nolan's Transport, and continues to meet Nolan's growing Information Technology needs.

Austcorp Coomera Waters Community Organisation Kelvin Grove Urban Village Royal Flying Doctors TradeCoast Central Scouts Queensland

Austcorp

Their Needs: Austcorp is one of Australia's largest property development and investment groups. When they commenced a development project on the coastal area between Brisbane and The Gold Coast (Coomera Waters), they decided there was a need for an easy-to-update brochure site promoting the residential development. This site provides residents and potential investors with current information and developments occuring within the community on a day-to-day basis.
Our Answers: Initially Creatop developed the publicity / brochure website for Coomera Waters on a SmartSite CMS platform. This allows easy content updates by the web master at any time. http://www.coomerawaters.com.au/

Coomera Waters Community Organisation

Their Needs: In order to create a unique sense of community pride within Coomera Waters, a shared "virtual" communal space was created to encourage residents to interact online, and to provide value-added service to the residents of the community.
Our Answers:Creatop developed Coomera Waters' community intranet; a service used by body corporate and the residents of Coomera Waters to create virtual meeting places, to collaborate and meet, and to create a community atmosphere. Coomera Waters' community intranet is now a fully implemented and popular communal resource for the residents of Coomera Waters.

Royal Flying Doctors

Their Needs: The Royal Flying Doctors Service (RFDS) - Queensland Section is the Qld wing of the world-famous aeromedical service. The RFDS required a new website with a range of applications to assist their daily business activities, boost fund-raising, and improve their online presence and brand identity.
Our Answers: The RFDS website was released in 2004 and continues to be a valuable asset for the organisation. The website is powered by SmartSite CMS, which enables the staff of RFDS to continually make improvements and updates to the site. Creatop and RFDS still enjoy a close support relationship.

Ecovillage

Their Needs: Ecovillage is an award-winning, environmental sustainable rural development located within the Gold Coast hinterland. In keeping with their environmental focus, Ecovillage decided to create shared "virtual" community space to foster the development of the community, share common environment interests, and provide a unique, value-added feature for future and current residents alike.
Our Answers: Creatop tailored the Ecovillage Community website to foster an online community and assist in the dissemination of community-focussed information. Users and residents now have the opportunity to create their own user profiles, join and participate in geographic and interest specific, view interest-driven event calendars and shape their own virtual community.

MyGenesis

Their Needs: Genesis is an eco-sensitive urban development at Coomera, located between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Encompassing 76ha, Genesis is aiming to home over 700 families. In order to strengthen the sense of community, MyGenesis commissioned Creatop to create a modern website with multiple functions, in conjunction with a community intranet to assist neighbours meeting one another.
Our Answers: MyGenesis was created by initially developing project-specific software for the client. Residents can participate within the online virtual community through message boards, community notices and creating Genesis "friends". All communal assets and facilities are booked and managed through an online booking mechanism. And local businesses have the opportunity to advertise themselves within the Local Business Directory to encourage money is spent locally within the community.

Kelvin Grove Urban Village

Their Needs: Kelvin Grove Urban Village a master-planned community developed inside a university 1.5km north of Brisbane's CBD at Kelvin Grove. It is a mixed-use development with an emphasis on sustainable development and affordable student housing. The Queensland Department of Housing, Queensland University of Technology, and the relevant residential and commercial development contractors identified the need for a communal portal in their new residential development to strengthen the sense of community within the village.
Our Answers: Kelvin Grove Community Portal was developed to provide a range of functions for the young, vibrant community comprised of people from different geographic and cultural backgrounds. Currently, the core portal has been developed and its release is awaiting content entry and for the residential development to be further completed.

TradeCoast Central

Their Needs: TradeCoast Central (TCC) is a large commercial development on the old Brisbane Airport site located approximately 8km east of Brisbane's CBD. TCC places an emphasis on quality and value-added services. This includes: ultra high-speed fibre optic communications; sustainable development; greatly improved public transport and services; water and waste recycling; and many more quality infrastructure developments. To further add to these services, TCC desired both a very modern website, and business intranet available to all businesses located within the development.
Our Answers: TradeCoast Central's website was released in March 2008, and contains a clean, modern layout, with a focus on usability and quality content delivery. With construction on TradeCoast Central underway, the business intranet was released in August 2008.

Scouts Queensland

Their Needs: Scouts Queensland required an extensive membership database system for their 13,000 members state-wide. They also required a CMS to maintain, and manage their website.
Our Answers: The SmartTeam platform was installed to keep record of their members, and included some innovative customisations to meet unique membership requirements, and to be compatible with their legacy database. A SmartSite was utilised to maintain and manage the website. Scouts Queensland have improved IT efficiency with these infrastructure improvements and continue a have a close support arrangement with Creatop.
